Outdoor Pool at Hot Springs Park Bath House to Close Temporarily for Accessibility Improvements

Visitors to Hot Springs State Park should plan for a temporary closure of the outdoor pool at the State Bath House beginning Aug. 24, 2026.

The pool is expected to remain closed for approximately one month while crews complete accessibility and safety improvements. The project includes installing a new ADA pool lift and a heated concrete sidewalk.

Park officials said the upgrades will make the pool safer, more accessible and more enjoyable for visitors in the years ahead.

Hot Springs State Park will announce when construction is complete and the outdoor pool is ready to reopen. Visitors should check the park’s Facebook page for updates.
